Mazzy Star

Mazzy Star debuted in 1990, recorded and performed until 1996 and then took a lengthy hiatus.

Now that they have reformed the duo of Hope Sandoval and David Roback will release their 4th album Seasons of Your Day in later September.

Hope’s vocals continue haunt as heard here in the song “California”.

The 2nd Poliça album is due in October.

In May we showcased the first song from Shulamith (pronounced SHOO-la-myth) which featured Justin Vernon of Bon Iver.

Originally from Athens, Georgia he now resides in Brooklyn.
