Pleased that in August we will have Painted Ruins, their 5th.

“Mourning Sound” is an early morsel from the album.

LCD Soundsystem

In 2011 James Murphy announced that he was retiring LCD Soundsystem.

The film Shut Up and Play the Hits even chronicled the last and final concert at Madison Square Garden.

However, he and his traveling band performed at Coachella in 2016.

And we now have two new songs “Call the Police” and “American Dream” from a yet unnamed forthcoming album.

The National

It’s always a pleasure to receive new music from The National.

I never tire of Matt Berninger’s baritone.

The album, Sleep Well the Beast, will not be ready until September.

But we do have the song “The System Only Dreams in Total Darkness”.
