Broken Bells is the collaboration between the great producer Danger Mouse and James Mercer (lead singer, songwriter and guitarist of the Shins). Danger Mouse thrilled us in 2004 with the Grey Album, his clever mash-up of the vocals from the Black Album by Jay Z and the White Album by the Beatles. His brilliance continued when he formed Gnarls Barkley with the out-of-box hit “Crazy”. The self-titled Broken Bells album has been out for a couple of months and continues to delight.
