Julia Jacklin

In Julia Jacklin’s song “Turn Me Down” she passionately asks her lover to break up with her so she doesn’t have to do it.

It’s included on this Australian singer/songwriters 2nd album Crushing.

Plus an extra track from the album “Pressure to Party”.

The Prodigy

Keith Flint, the frontman for the pioneering electronic band The Prodigy, has committed suicide.

The band’s 7th album No Tourists was released late last year and with a bit of irony it included the song “We Live Forever”.

Listen to it here as well as their massive hit “Firestarter”.

Aldous Harding

Designer will be her 3rd album in April including the song “The Barrel”.

“The Barrel”

Gary Clark Jr.

Gunslinger Gary Clark Jr.’s 3rd album features the powerfully eponymous song “This Land”.

Expanding his songwriting into a new political direction, this Austin-based artist tackles racism in the heart of Trump country.

Africa

Currently on safari in East Africa.

The Oedipus Project will resume in February when I emerge from the bush.

Christmas

It’s coming upon Christmas and once again I will be broadcasting live for Christmas Eve with Oedipus.

This year I have been honoured with a proclamation from the Mayor of Boston:

One song that you will be hearing on the Eve is by Saintseneca.   This gorgeous song was released late last year just before Christmas and we feature it now.
